If Microsoft Teams for Classes does not exist in your course:

  • In your Canvas course go to Settings

  • Click on the Apps tab at the top

  • Click the button View App Configurations

  • Click +App

  • From the Configuration Type dropdown – Choose By ClientID

  • In the Client ID box enter the code 170000000000570

  • You should get a confirmation prompt for the tool. Click Install.

    • You will need to refresh your Canvas page to see the item in your course navigation
