VisibleBody Atlas is available for download to mobile devices via the OTC Library. It is not managed by OTC IT Resources. While off campus, you must use the version of the app that goes through the OTC Proxy.
Instructions:
PC/Mac
Go to the Library web page on the OTC web site
Click Research Databases by Subject
Click the tile which reads Bioclinical & Health Sciences
Scroll down the page and select VisibleBody
Click Launch Human Anatomy Atlas
Note: When launching the app, you may experience a loading time of 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This is NORMAL and is due to how large the images are!
Mobile Devices
Go to the Library web page on the OTC web site
Click Research Databases by Subject
Click the tile which reads Bioclinical & Health Sciences
Scroll down the page and select VisibleBody
Click Mobile Apps
Select the applicable download for if you are off campus or on campus, and install the app
On Campus
Human Anatomy Atlas
Physiology Animations
Make sure you're logged in to your campus network
Download and install the app(s)
Make sure you open your app(s) when you're on campus and logged into your campus network once every 150 days.
Off Campus
Select the app you want to download
In the pop-up that appears, enter and submit your email. Notice that a "Verification Code" option appears. Leave this web page open.
Check your email for a verification code. Copy that code, and paste it into the "Verification Code" option on the web page and submit.
Save the username and password provided.
Use the link provided to download the mobile app. Launch the app.
On the activation screen, enter the username and password provided.
