Here is how to get connected to applications and desktops delivered through Citrix
Citrix Workspace will run on ChromeOS using the app from the Chrome Web Store. If you are running ChromeOS that is restricted from installing apps, you can select “Use Light Version” instead.
Download and install the Citrix Workspace application (previously Citrix Receiver):
Go to citrix.otc.edu in any browser
Select “Detect Receiver”
Check the license agreement and select “Download”
“CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe” should automatically download
If the file does not automatically download, go to this URL to download it: http://downloadplugins.citrix.com/Windows/CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe
Launch CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe and run through the installation
Keep the default settings, do not select “Enable single sign-on” or “Enable app protection”
Go back to the browser and select “Continue”
You should get a prompt to “Open Citrix Workspace Launcher”
Once you make it to the Citrix StoreFront where you can launch applications or desktops
When you launch an application or desktop, it may again prompt to “Open Citrix Workspace Launcher”
Once Citrix Workspace is installed, you can launch it from the Start Menu instead of accessing Citrix via the browser. Citrix Workspace will prompt for a server address, which is “citrix.otc.edu”.
