OTC is now utilizing ATP Safe Attachments. ATP Safe Attachments is part of Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). The ATP Safe Attachments feature checks to see if email attachments are malicious, and then takes action to protect your organization.

When you receive an email with an attachment, it will be scanned automatically by ATP Safe Attachments. While it is being scanned, instead of seeing the attachment itself in your Outlook preview window, the attachment will say "ATP Scan In Progress."

If you click on the attachment while the scan is in progress, it will tell you that it's scanning your attachment, as well as giving you the option to preview the attachment.

This will open a preview of the attachment in a browser window.

Otherwise, you can wait for the attachment to finish scanning, and open it from your email as usual. It shouldn't take long.

Note: While it doesn't take long for the scan to finish, if you forward an email while the scan is still in progress, it may not correctly forward the attachment, but instead forward the paused scan state. To avoid this, wait for the scan to finish and the correct attachment to display instead before forwarding.
