Webcam, Speaker, and Zoom Instructions for Conference Rooms
Using Speaker:
Power the speaker on by pressing and holding the power button at the button of the device. The top corner shows how much battery power the speaker has.
Note: The speaker may be plugged in. For mobility, unplug the speaker from the USB charger to move around the room as needed.
Adjust the volume with the + and - controls. Use the Bluetooth button to connect the speaker wirelessly to a device.
Using Zoom with Speaker and Webcam:
If the in-room computer does not have Zoom installed, it can be accessed by going to the website otc.zoom.us. Sign in with SSO, and put in your OTC Credentials.
Click on the Zoom icon on the desktop or search for Zoom using the search feature on the PC. Once it opens, you may have to select Sign in with SSO, and put in your OTC Credentials.
Once logged into Zoom go to the Settings option to adjust the audio and video settings before you start a meeting.
Note: Make sure under Audio, the Test Speaker and the Test Mic are set to Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Jabra link 370), and under Video the device is C922 Pro Stream webcam.
Meeting Options:
Join: Join a meeting that has already been started.
Schedule: Schedule a future meeting.
Meetings: View schedule meetings.
Starting a Zoom Meeting:
Start with video, which will enable the webcam.
Start without video and just use audio.
Click the Join Audio option to hear other participants.
During a Meeting:
Stop/Start Video.
Invite more people to join the meeting: Select the invite icon, then type an OTC employee's name in the search bar. Click on contact icon to invite.
Manage the amount of participants in the meeting.
Share your screen with other participants.
Chat with the group or privately.
Record the meeting.
When finished, select End Meeting.
