LCN 211 - Equipment Instructions

Instructions for using the TV and media equipment, using either the in-room computer, or a laptop, or both.

Using the Media:

  • Press the power button on the controller to start the system. This will start up the projector and set the source to the PC.

  • Once the system has started you can change sources to either the Laptop VGA or Laptop HDMI if needed.

    • Note: When using the Laptop HDMI makes sure to plug in the audio cable into the device in order to get sound.

Control Options:

  • Display Off - Shuts down the system.

  • Auto Image - Re-syncs the displayed image on the projector.

  • Mute - A full AV mute, this will mute all audio and blank the screen.

  • Admin - Pulls up special admin functions for output audio and projector power (requires a Help Desk code).

  • Sources - Pulls up the controls for all audio inputs.
    Audio Options:

  • When you press the Sources button, the first page of audio controls will appear. The next few screens allow the adjustment of input audio levels for the room. This is the first page of audio controls. All of the microphones are located in the drawer above the amplifier.

  • PC/Laptop - Adjusts the audio input for the desktop computer and the laptop connections going through the video switcher.

  • Lapel - Adjusts the sound for the Lapel Microphone.

  • Back - Takes you to the previous screen.

  • Next - Loads the second page of audio controls.

  • This is the second page of the audio controls.

  • Handheld 1 / 2 / 3 - Adjusts the audio input for the wireless handheld microphone with the matching label.

  • This is the third page of the audio controls. 

  • Podium - Adjusts the audio input for the microphone on the podium.

  • Ext Neu - Adjusts the audio input for the matching image and is labeled to match the touch panel. This connection is generally used with the portable sound system to provide additional microphones.

  • Ext XLR - Adjusts the audio input for the matching image and is labeled to match the touch panel. This is used for additional wired audio devices like microphones or instruments.

Turning the System Off:

  • Press the Display Off button, which will bring up this conformation screen. The cancel button will take you back to the previous screen. The power down button will shut down the projector and mute all the microphone channels. Once everything is shut down and reset it will load the Start screen.
