IC 206A / Foundation Conference Room - Equipment Instructions
Instructions for using the TV and media equipment, using either the in-room computer, or a laptop, or both.
Using the Media:
Use the Sharp remote to power the TV on/off. Make sure the TV Input is on HDMI 1.
The HP Mini computer is behind the TV on the left side. Note: If the computer appears shut down, the Mini power button is on the computer behind the TV.
The wireless keyboard and mouse can be used to interface with the computer. (The keyboard and mouse can be moved around throughout the room as needed.) Note: Make sure both the wireless keyboard and mouse are switched on.
The HP Mini computer is on the OTC network, and can be used to access network files.
The USB cable is located behind the left side of the TV, for flash drive use.
Personal Device:
Wireless Display (Windows Laptops & Android Devices)
Select Input on the TV remote.
Choose the HDMI 3 option.
On your laptop keyboard, press Windows Key + K to connect.
On your laptop, select IC 206A. You will need to enter a pin the first time. (Shown on TV)
Once connected, your laptop screen will display on the TV.
Press Windows Key + P to change the display options.
When you are done, press Windows Key + K to disconnect your laptop from the TV.
HDMI
Select Input on the TV remote.
Choose HDMI 2 Option.
Connect your laptop to the HDMI cable (behind the left side of TV). Note: There is an adapter on the cable for use, if your device doesn't have an HDMI port.
AirServer (Apple Devices)
Enables Apple users to wirelessly mirror their personal display over to the big screen.
Note: Every conference room should have AirServer capabilities. If you find that a room does not have AirServer capabilities and would like it to be added, contact the Help Desk (contact information below).
When Finished:
Sign out of the computer, and power off the TV.
