Student and employee's OTC accounts:
Uses same OTC username/password
Has access to /var/www/html/users/<username>
Only the username folder is visible, cannot access any other folder
Content can be accessed via browser at https://cis-web1.otc.edu/users/<username>/
Local accounts:
Only provided to Web Design instructors that requested access
Unique password only for that account
Has access to /var/www/html
Can access all user folders
Content can be accessed via browser at https://cis-web1.otc.edu/
How to connect
CIS-WEB1 is ONLY accessible from an OTC network (including OTC-WiFi, but NOT OTC-Guest), you must either be on campus or use VPN/remote.otc.edu

Use your preferred FTP client (pictured below is FileZilla)
Hostname/server: cis-web1.otc.edu
Port: 21
You may get a warning about TLS:
NOTE: on an internal trusted network connecting to a trusted server, this is acceptable, this is not security best practice for production servers connected to the internet.
