Voicemail Setup and Access
This article will detail the voicemail process in Webex and explain how to set up your voicemail PIN, voicemail message, and more.

Accessing the Web Client
You can access your voicemail settings directly by going to user.webex.com and logging in with your OTC email address.
Once you log in, you will be on your Webex profile screen:
From here, you can access your voicemail options by clicking on ‘Settings’ on the left-hand side:
Resetting Your Voicemail PIN
To reset your voicemail PIN:
On the settings screen in Webex, click on the ‘Voicemail’ tab at the top:
Click on Settings, then go to Voicemail.You will see many different options for your voicemail on this page. Click on ‘Reset voicemail PIN’ to set up a new PIN:
The Reset voicemail PIN button is the second option on this page.Enter a new PIN number and confirm it using the requirements listed:
The PIN requirements are listed below the entry area.
Once saved, your new PIN is ready to go and can be used on your desk phone to access your voicemails.
Setting the Voicemail Greeting
You can change your voicemail greeting in the web client or from your desk phone.
From the Web Client
Log into user.webex.com with your OTC email address.
Click on ‘Settings’ on the left-hand side.
Click on ‘Voicemail’ on the top banner.
Under the ‘Send calls to voicemail’ area, toggle the ‘Custom message’ option to be on:
Toggle the Custom message option to enable a custom voicemail greeting.Upload an audio file from your computer or record a voicemail greeting directly from your web browser.
From the Desk Phone
Click on the voicemail button on your desk phone.
Enter your PIN.
Press ‘1' to access your voicemail. Then press ‘3’ to change your voicemail 'no answer’ greeting.
The virtual attendant will then walk you through setting your greeting.
Accessing Voicemails
You can access your voicemails in multiple ways:
From the Web Client
Log into user.webex.com with your OTC email address.
Click on ‘Settings’ on the left-hand side.
Click on ‘Voicemail’ on the top banner.
Click on 'Manage voicemails', the first option on this page:
The Manage voicemails option will also list how many voicemails you have.
Your voicemails will be listed; you can listen to them directly in the web browser.
From the Desk Phone
Click on the voicemail button on your desk phone.
Enter your PIN.
The virtual attendant will give you instructions on which buttons to press to access, save, and delete your voicemails.
Note - voicemails will be deleted from your desk phone after 30 days.
From Email
In addition to being available in the web client and on your physical desk phone, voicemails will also have a transcribed copy sent to your Outlook email for review:
The voicemail will also be attached to the email so you can download and listen to it.
Note - when voicemail emails are deleted from Outlook, the red indicator light on your phone will not go away on its own. You will have to delete them manually from the phone for the light to go away. There is an option to disable the desk phone indicator light in user.webex.com but note that this will disable the light for all voicemails - change this at your discretion.
