Focused Inbox

Focused Inbox is a feature in Office365 that offers a way to organize your email based on what is most important to you. Emails that appear in the Focused Inbox are determined by the content of the email and with whom you interact most. You can always change what is presented there and what is sent to the Other tab.

Outlook on the Web - Turning on Focused Inbox

  1. Open Outlook on the Web and log in with your OTC email address and password.

  2. Select the gear icon and turn on Focused Inbox.

Note: To turn off Focused Inbox, repeat the steps above, but uncheck Focused Inbox.

Changing How Email is Organized

  1. From your Inbox, select Focused.

  2. Right-click an email from the list that you want to move to your Other Inbox.

  3. Choose Move > Move to Other inbox or  Move > Always move to Other inbox.

  4. Alternatively, if your are in your Other inbox, you can choose to Move to Focused inbox or Always move to Focused inbox.
