Forwarding Calls with Cisco Phones

This article shows users how to forward their office phone to receive calls to a different device, both manually and remotely.

Step-by-step guide

In order to forward your phone:

  1. Push the soft button under the word Forward.

  2. Use the navigation ring to select the forwarding option you want, and then press the select button:

  3. Use the navigation ring to update On/Off, move to Forward Number to enter the forwarded number, and click Set to enable.

    • Repeat this process to turn forwarding off.

    • Note: The phone number should be in the 10-digit format: Dial 1, then the 10-digit phone number. For example: 14171234567

Forward Calls in the Webex App

You can forward calls using the Webex desktop app. This is especially useful if you need to forward calls remotely.

To do so:

  1. Open the Webex app.

  2. Click on Settings on the bottom-left.

  3. In Settings, click on Calling. The Call Forward options should now be visible to you. You can either forward calls to voicemail, or to a number you can add.

  4. When you add a number use the 10-digit format. For example: 14171234567

    • Once the number is set, click on Add and select the number.

  5. Your calls are now forwarded. You can navigate back to this same menu to turn off call forwarding.
