This article will help differentiate the types of headsets that are supported by our Cisco desk phones.

7841 Model Phones
The 7841 model phones can be paired with the Plantronics - CS540 Wireless DECT Headset:
The headset base is wired to the physical phone, but the headset itself is wireless for the user.
This is a non-Bluetooth headset.
IT does not provide these headsets. They must be ordered through your department.
8851 Model Phones
The 8851 model phones can be paired with the Poly - Voyager Focus 2 UC Wireless ANC Headset:
This is a wireless headset.
This is a Bluetooth headset, which can be paired to multiple devices (your desk phone, laptop, etc.).
IT does not provide these headsets. They must be ordered through your department.
Wired Option for 7841 or 8851 Model Phones
Both the 7841 and 8851 model phones can be paired with the Arama Cisco Phone Headset:
This is a wired headset that connects directly to your desk phone.
IT will provide these headsets on request.
