Outlook Voting Buttons
Setting Up Voting Buttons:
Create a New Email in Outlook.
Add all content, attachments, and recipients.
Select the Options tab.
Click the Use Voting Buttons icon on the toolbar.
Select the appropriate response for recipients
When ready, Send the email.
User Vote:
The recipient will see a Vote button on the toolbar of the received email:
Or, they may see a message in the email header which says:
To vote, click the Vote button, or click the line shown above ending with Click here to vote and choose the appropriate response:
The sender will receive an email with the recipient's response in the subject:
Exporting the Voting Responses to Excel:
Open the original message with the voting buttons that you sent. This message is usually located in the Sent Items folder.
On the Message tab, in the Show group, click Tracking.
Select the responses that you want to copy by pressing and holding Ctrl on the keyboard, and then click and drag the mouse to select all names and responses in the list.
Press CTRL + C to Copy list.
Start Excel.
Select a cell, and then press CTRL + V to paste the list into Excel.
