Signing Into Foxit

Signing Into Foxit

Foxit now requires a sign-in to use. This article details how to sign into Foxit PDF Editor.

NOTE: Users are licensed to use Foxit on one device at a time. If you use Foxit on multiple devices, you will need to sign out on one system, and sign in on the other. See the section below on managing multiple devices.

Signing Into Foxit

  1. Close out of Foxit completely if it is open.

  2. Search your computer for Foxit PDF Editor and open it:

  3. On the Activation screen, select Sign In in the bottom-right corner:

  4. On the Sign In screen, select the Microsoft icon:

  5. Use your OTC email address (with @otc.edu included at the end) and click Next.

  6. Sign in as normal on the organization login screen.

You are now signed into Foxit!

Managing Multiple Devices

NOTE: Foxit licensing includes access to their online PDF editor: Foxit PDF Editor Cloud - Edit PDF. You can edit PDFs online without needing to worry about activations. If you only EDIT PDFs on one machine, and just need to VIEW PDFs on a second machine, we can uninstall the PDF editor on the secondary machine and can configure a PDF viewer that does not require activation.

Users are licensed to use Foxit on a single device at a time, if you open Foxit on a second device, you may receive this error:

Click “OK”, then click the “X” next to the other device you are signed into:

Close this window, and you will be returned to the sign-in page. Sign in on your device and Foxit will be useable once more.

If you need further assistance, contact the IT Help Desk.
