How to connect to a Microsoft Wireless Display adapter
If you would like to connect a Windows 10 compatible or Android device to a Microsoft Wireless Display adapter, these instructions should help you accomplish that.
Instructions
Make sure that the room has a Wireless Display Adapter installed then follow the next steps.
Conference Room Instructions:
Power on the Display (Projector/Television) and your device.
Use the TV remote to select the HDMI the wireless display is on.
The TV will then show the Wireless Display Adapter's name.
Press the Windows Keys + K and select the adapter's name from the list.
Enter the code shown when your device connects.
Classroom Instructions:
Power on the Display (Projector/Television) and your device.
You can then press the Wireless Display button on the AV controls to change the Display to the correct source.
Some rooms have wall-mounted controls; others will be on the desktop.
The projector will then show the Wireless Display Adapter's name.
You can follow the on-screen steps to connect your device.
For Windows Devices:
Press the Windows key plus the K key.
Select the Wireless Display Adapter from the list of displays.
Enter the passcode displayed to finalize this connection.
For Android Devices:
Swipe down from the top of your screen to the bottom to bring up the Control Center.
Select the Cast option.
Select the correct display.
